The space that was the communal circulation space has now become shared circulation space with living areas on one side and sleeping on the other. The ground floor entrance level is the only space common to all occupants of the building. Its the design and features are a separate problem. This layout can be repeated horizontally and vertically to produce a building the shape of a thin slab. Its height will be ultimately be limited by wind load but adding corners or curves will allow this habitable wall to be higher than otherwise possible.
