Universal Apartment III
This is another proposal in the Universal Apartment series. Services shift to the outer walls, allowing more useable internal space with minimal space for movement between the access door and the internal stairwell. The addition of kitchens and/or bathrooms allows the basic spatial unit to be used in different ways and as different parts of a large dwelling and/or office. All habitable areas have windows overlooking the access lobbies and corridor. Middle and upper levels also have projecting bay windows that allow persons inside the apartments and those in the shared access space to have an awareness of the presence of the other.
