There may be construction and schedule efficiencies to be gained by not tailoring apartment envelopes to spatial requirements that differ only slightly for 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartments. Instead, here the determining layout is the minimum 3-bedroom apartment that allows 2-bedroom apartments to be stacked above it, and 1-bedroom apartments above those.

 

Internal circulation is 12.45 for an 85.5 sq.m 3-bedroom apartment,  8.9% for a 74.2 sq.m apartment, and 13.7% for a 58.3 sq.m 1-bedroom apartment – an average of 10.6%.

 

Buildings can share side walls. The ground floor, façades, type and position of balconies, and the allocation of mechanical floors are all separate design problems.
